You can tell how stretched the image of Orion is just by the Halo's around the stars. Usually don't see them with only a 1 min sub. And they are not bright either.
It is a very quiet Sony Super HAD Sensor. When I bought the Camera I did some 10 Min darks just to see what sort of noise it had. The Noise was almost non existent at 10 Mins even when stretched to the max.
They claim you don't even need to use darks most of the time.
On a 10 Min dark Stretched to the max their were 3 bright pixels and a few dozen very dim pixels. The rest was just black. Temp set at -10 C.
