Nikolas, I don't see this magenta scale you told, in my netbook and notebook.
Phothsop CS3 says that at black area (background) RGB = 0 0 0 and CMYK = 75% 68% 67% 90%
bright area of planet RGB 117 83 89 CMYK 55 63 38 13
dark area RGB RGB 70 47 50 CMYK 56 71 61 56
What I see is a little under-exposition. The image is a little dark. With +1.7 adjust of exposure in PS (it lose the animation with only copy/paste of gif)
