interesting comparison

whilst im not to flash on the processing side of things.. i took a couple of quick exposures of ETA tonite inbetween clouds.

these 2 photos are of equal exposure times 20 minutes. the first is from the other week taken with 5 and 3 min subs and no darks. the 2nd is 2 x 10 min exposures with 2 x 10 min darks. stacked and well as processed as i get. what i noticed is the 2 x 10 min exposures are well and truly pinkified. and i cant seem to get it back to anything like the 1st pic.

which one do you guys think is a better representation of the nebula. im more towards the 1st pic the 5 min subs.

im also using a light polution filter.. Nikon d3200 dlsr guided.
