I just tried to instal the program on my Win8.1 machine. It got most of the way through and then faulted, I am running this as Administrator. I had no problems up until then. Maybe try again making sure that you are logged in as Administrator. I assume that you are downloading it from
http://www.aurigaimaging.com/download.html ?
