yes Rick, indeed I did take some snaps with my smart(er than me) phone through the 25 mm plossl, and they turned out OK.

I dunno what step 3 will be, I doubt AP tho, tooooo fiddley n techy for me . . . I'd finish up needing the full 12 steps of the other AA
