Alex if image quality is the priority - not wide field - what you want is one of the simpler eyepiece types with relatively few elements - orthoscopic, super monocentric, plossl, etc. - though eye relief will be abysmal...
Or borrow my f/15 mak and put 8mm behind it, this will be similar ...
