Just seeing if this actually posts.
We have been without the interweb for nearly a month.
I've had to drive into town (30kms)just to check my e-mail (not easy in a 17yo Hi-Lux and a fragile back).
Telstra's the only provider where we are and the only 'boxes' they support are 4G (4G here is a bit like FM - an urban myth).
So after going through three 4G boxes that were supposed to default to 3G- which of course they didn't - I think we might have one that works!
Now I know that a scarcity of subscribers means we're never 'gonna have ADSL or FOTN, but really, a MONTH to get an internet connection that's still slower than Albania?!
