Ken, Craig, Geoff and myself (Phil) came to Lostock this year as first-timers, arriving on the Thursday to set up camp. Fun - its been a while since I slept under canvas.... Very hot / humid on Thursday, but the Night Sky brought back memories of my trip around outback NSW/QLD. Friday was then really hot / humid, but we found the swimming hole, which provided relief. Late afternoon, the cloud came in, so no viewing at all, but another camper (Bill & Wendy?) had brought in a Fireplace & Wood, so a campfire was had. Excellent, although a few too many beers. Saturday was wet, so rather than stay until Sunday, we decided to pack-up and return home around lunchtime. A great weekend.
