About a month or so ago I started imaging this object so I had not only a
long focal length image of the area but also a wide field image of the area. I completed collection of the data on Saturday but have just got around to finish processing the SI today and of course the processing during the day of the colour and 3D treatment. This object really lends itself to the 3D look. There is a good balance of SII, OIII and Ha for that to ok. I have processed the star colours in rather than collect RGB but I might still go about doing that. It might yield yet another perspective.
One thing I am a little disappointed in; is not getting all the planetary nebula in the shot to the left. I did not realise it was there when I set up the shot and only later saw it in the frames. As far as I know it is known as PLN294-01. I don't suppose if anyone actually knows another name for it? It looks quite bright and could be quite a nice image for a long focal length image.
