Your image centres roughly on RA 8h 58m DEC -48 10 which is about 6 degrees further south than Gum 14. You just missed the pencil nebula at the bottom.
Vela has a lot of clusters and nebulosity - I've tried a few of these but I don't take long enough exposures to match the quality of your image.
