Autostakkert 2 works with Mac. Under Wine. I've used it a few times, does a good job on planets.
I use Neb 3 for stacking as well. Works well on Mac.
Don't know about Nikon stuff. Nobody here uses Nikon. Only Canon or CCD.
But you could probably make up a patch camera cable to take the images (an intervalometer) and download to Neb 3 and stack there, offline. I did it with analog video, it just works. Mind you I had to write a utility to convert frames of a .mov to images (TIFF or PNG) before Neb would look at it.
