Jupiter
Don't usually do planets as my setup is not really suitable and they are low on my northern sky over houses up the hill behind me but last night was a ripper. A cool southerly cleared the air so LP was minimal and thermals were blown away from me and the moon put in a late appearance. I'd spent several hours imaging Eta C and trying to get data in the South Pillars but Jupiter was bright and stable so at the end of the night I swung around andd grabbed a few hundred frames.
So 450D through a 2 x Barlow and the Lunt 102 ED f7. 100 iso 300 frames for this capture. If I get another chance like this I'll try again with the ASI 120mc but it's the first time I have gotten decent colour and reasonably well defined bands. There are also two moons, Ganymede and Europa I think, Io should be there somewhere according to Jupiter2 and the GRS is just visible I think dissapearing around the corner according to Jupiter2 again.
