I got the idea to image this object late in the season (thanks to Harel Boren) and I think I have almost run out of time now. I am trying to gather more luminance for this image as I am not happy with the noise level and it has meant I needed to undertake some noise control. If I get significantly more data before the end of the apparition I will post an update but now this is what I have put together.
I collected my data in the following:
Ha 930 minutes.
Luminance 360 minutes
Red 80 minutes
Green 100 minutes
Blue 100 minutes.
You could easily collect Lum rather than Ha to object a very similar result, though the dust lanes are more enhanced in the Ha data.
In the same field of view is NGC2182, NGC2183 and NGC2185 with NGC2182 having the most interesting looking structure.
