Radio Sun: Experiments and observations

Hi, the wet weather in Brisy has kept me indoors for a few days and given me a chance to process some radio data. I've been collecting broadband RF data for a while with the aim of detecting solar impacts and seeing what I can learn about radio sources. Since the radio sun is rather dead right now, this provided a good chance to look at quiet/steady state stuff.

Aim: Correlation of radio dropouts with solar electron flux density

This worked pretty nicely, using my radio data from the last week and overlaying it on GOES13 electron flux data. You can see the diurnal variation and (if you squint) broader quietening of the sun.

A bit more on this here. Now to look for some more experiments! ...hopefully we get some radio excitement soon
