John, this company, CloudMakers makes bloody good stuff. I've already emailed one of their developers, Peter Polakovic, and made a few requests requets: AstroImager (a toggle on/off for cross hairs) and Fits Preview (ability to rotate image 90, 180 etc). My suggestions were well received. See pic from Peter, rotate function added already! Just needs Apple clearance. Champion.
For me, the Atik camera control on Mac is massive. It just works. I do love my SkyX, but I continue to encounter issues controlling my Atik
