Vince, you can autoguide using ST-4, as Eden notes. But I wonder, why the resistance to use EQMOD? It works wonderfully well with the AZ-EQ6, and when combined with Astrotorilla plate solving, it makes a fantastic combination for alignment, goto, tracking, AutoPEC, etc.
