The 80 mm sounds a bit big and heavy for a DOB, it will require some serious rebalancing. I have a 50 mm RA finder which gets moved to where ever it is needed. It has it's own adjustable mount and mount plate(s) on each scope setup. It goes from the Serrurier 10" in DOB configuration or the Lunt on the EQ6. The Serrurier can be loaded to the EQ6 as well.
My SW 80 f5 is the guide scope on the EQ6\Lunt combo along with an SW 80 f11 which I use for visual checking the target in the Lunt.

I wouldn't mount either SW on the DOB configuration, just the wee 50mm RA finder. I'd add a laser but we're undr the flight path for all incoming jets from across the ditch and it might attract attention. Besides which the EQ6 gets me to within cooee of my targets so not needed.
