Re-posting the ad to find large primary mirrors. I am looking for primary mirrors that are 16" and over.
If you have such a mirror under the bed, in the shed, in a scope, or that a mate has that can do with a new home, please let me know. Does not need to be in pristine condition.
Even if you have just heard of something on the grapevine I would be interested in hearing from you.
I mentioned this to a friend last week. They shook their head and told me I should have asked him a year ago as there was a 40" f/2 mirror going at a large observatory. Thing hadn't been used in years and was smashed up for scrap a year ago,
