Newt first lights

Hi folks, been collecting some data on these two over Xmas.
The M42 I used a Canon 5D mark II unmodded with coma corrector and Vixen RS200 8" f4 scope. Five minute subs with darks and flats.
Thor's Helmet same camera and scope- ten minute subs with calibration.
I have the colour version of M42/43 but it really shows the stretching I did to get the dust -even at four hours worth.
Camera temperature was quite hot as well -I think the 5D runs much hotter than my 1000D according the EXIF on APT- almost ten degrees hotter. Anyone else noticed that?
Any advice gratefully received.

Thanks for looking.
