Yep I know what you mean Josh, I installed shorty collimation knobs from scopestuff which were noticeably shorter than the existing screws and had a bit of a battle. I don't know whether there are different (Bobs Knobs) models but the latest meade OTA's come with longer collimation screws and a different secondary holder than those of a couple of years ago. The shorty collimation knobs that I got from
Scopestuff now come in 2 different models to suit both secondary designs.
