Hi,
I could never get Stellarium to run correctly and easily 'out of the box'- even using Stellarium Scope - so I run CDC (Carte De Ciel) and that seems to work easily and quickly via EQMOD.
On my underpowered machine I run PHD2 and Artemis Capture for the CCD at the same time as CDC and it seems ok so far
