Hi David I managed to get it that low by making the bottom heavier. I played around with the torque equations in Berry's book and I built a double prymary box. One box inside another, screwed and glued together out of 19mm plywood. Also the primary mirror cell I constructed out of 5 mm steel weighs about 4.5 Kgs so it was a bit of good fortune really. I'm working on a few pictures of the project and as soon as I finish I will post the whole lot.
