Hi, yes, thanks it was actually the Core/CPU temperature, but the HD does get really hot too. If I touch its location the metal of the laptop is really hot!

I have 8GB of RAM. It is funny because if I use PaintShop I can have 15 images open and this does not happen.

I tried again right now - just an image in PhotoShop - and SpeedFan is already giving me the message "HDD above normal temperature"...
