Saw the last installment of The Hobbit Sunday
Being a fan of Tolkien's books it's been great to see the translation of both the LOTR trilogy and Hobbit to the big screen the last 15 years. The opening scenes to the Battle of the five armies was superb, overall just great entertainment but yes some of the gratuitous violence could of been toned down. Always thought the casting was excellent through all the films. Wonder if anyone will be game enough to translate "The Silmarillion " to film
