Even if they are "smart" you will have to come out of that bunker sometime.

Having had recuring dreams of tsunamis engulfing Sydney from age 12-18.
The tsunamis came in 2004 but not Sydney.
Also the cold war ended, "cosmos Carl Sagan, said there were back then enough bombs or megatonage for each family on Earth" a single afternoon of ww2 every 5 minutes...!
When I finaly found a farm to "be prepared" 10 years ago.
The reality of trying to be self sufficient is extremely hard, with native animals eating your veges, feral dogs your meat and nieghbours goats, pigs etc running rampant.
I tried getting all the valley folk (neighbours) on side with outdoor movie nights once a month, but they all had their "issues" with each other,eventually I even had a mini war with my closest one when he shot my dog (becuase she barked at his cattle who were on my property as he never built a fence I gave him half the money for)
Anyway, what I am trying to say is, no matter how prepped you can be, how nice will it be to emerge and survive in the world of the walking dead(when they are not even zombies) but fellow humans gone feral!
