I really don't like paying insurance at all. If you never claim its money thrown away. However with expensive equipment I'm paying to cover the unforeseen event...the risk that something you can't prevent occurs despite prior best management. That's the same with all insurances. You can be as careful as you like but you can't prevent chance events from happening.
Obviously I'm not going to increase my monthly premium by $55. That's a ridiculous price hike. Hence I'm now consulting you guys before I decide how to move forwards. So far Suncorp has had the only reference and I'll definitely consult them once everyone has had their chance to contribute.
