Interesting what you say about rotation, hope to image again tonight to see if there's any other events.
Maybe it would be possible to work out a rotational period from this.

I finally managed to take a quick peak of Q2 lastnight. unfortunately it was a quick and dirty look with an uncollimated newt. first part of the tail easily showing on short 10 second exposure.

hopefully i'll get to setup properly in the next week. forecast not great for Melbourne.
