There are some impressive You Tube demonstrations of these drones. There is one of drone racing done around a circuit with trees etc.

Some have a home setting where the drone will come back to a home location with the press of a button. First person view would also be handy as if its up too high or far away you would still be able to control it easily and it would give a great birds eye view of the surrounds. I'd say a LOT of fun and potentially some great photo opportunities.
