G'day Paul,
Last time I was in the "other" hemisphere, I marveled at how weird things looked. The triangle made up of Deneb, Vega and Altair was quite high in the sky and the W of Cassiopeia was easily seen. And Sagittarius was low in the south. Someone had their scope set up on M11 claiming it was the best in the sky...I was a good lad and refrained from laughing out aloud!
