I've been around car restoration most of my life, and currently trim them for a living, love it!!
Can be frustrating though but rewarding, like astro imaging.

I love em, back twenty year ago I drove a burnt orange Clubman GT bored out to 1310 with dual SU's. My wife drove a stock Mini 1100 for a decade. My brother in law had a Riley Elf that was a sunday drive, but alas we sold them all, at the time you need the money and they go.
Are you any relation to the Tilbrooks that had a Mini workshop at Hampstead Gardens in SA??
