Two versions of NGC 1769 and friends at NW edge of LMC. A
punchier version has wavelet sharpening and stronger blues. A
less processed version version is shown for comparison. Which do you prefer?
[Bassnut (Fred) showed this area recently, but far more processed than either of these].
The rich young cluster just toward 5pm of centre has carved out a jewelled Aladin's Cave for itself. There is an intriguing "winged bubble" that Fred named Thor's Other Helmet about 70% of the way toward 3 o'clock.
