It's strange to think of the twists of fate like this.
As a youngster I was hit in the head with full toss playing cricket (before we had helmets), caught me on the temple, needless to say I hit the ground with thump. I had a lump half the size of the ball.
It was no 140km/h rocket (maybe 80km/h), but still I was obviously lucky.
