A brilliant project Bojan!
There is a site I once saw which explained how to read the serial
output of these calipers which is on a pinout under a removable cover.
SIte should be found by maybe an IIS search with verniers and Kinetic,
Can't find the site right now (I'm on a clunky android phone) but I remember
doind a post about it once.
Serial data stream is a peculiar non-standard format but readable with
a serial logger.
One more thing, these calipers need to stay oil and grime free, otherwise you
get wierd readouts. My lathe caliipers are the best $29 I ever spent
Another use would be on the 10:1 crayford style focusers. I remember doing
a post about that too.
