fog went, wasnt there at 3.30 when I got up. Very wet underfoot and around.

I decided to go the 50mm route, so I mounted the canon with standard lens on the eq6, because I didnt polar align all that well I only did 1 mnute shots. nOw forthe life of me I cannot find my card reader?

BUt what I can say was the spectacular meteor display! It was awesome and actually lit up the ground several times streaming from over head. I counted at least 26 until I went back to bed at 5.15. Venus rose with a brilliant shine and I saw several satellites. the central core of the milky way was magnificent. But I found the comet very hard to find and lost it several times in the light polluted backdrop so I tried, tomorrow I will mount the scope.
