I'm not great with these FOV calculations and the like, but, using Ron Wodaski's calculator:
My scope's details:
focal length=2160mm
aperture=300mm
f-stop=7.2
resulting in:
0.88 arc sec/pixel
7.3' x 10.9' FOV
I stick away from the bright DSO's, hunting down the fainter ones.
