hi Allan,

yep, not sure why it had an orange cast, but a color wipe in startools removed that and shifted it to blue. I did some adjustments in the color module to reduce the red bias, hence the blue.
It was at an altitude of around 38degrees when I imaged it, so it can't be light pollution that normally shows up even in dark skies if you go below 25 degrees, so not sure why.
I think I applied the measured G2V ratio for my filters and ccd when combining in maxim, I'll try again without any change in ratio.
the ratio I measured in ccdautopilot was 1.13:1:1.32 R:G:B.
edit: I did a combine with a 1:1:1 ratio and its a lot more yellower. the G2V ratio gives a manageable white balance.
