Little surprised a bit more red nebulae didn't come out in the disk, and the centre is a bit too yolk coloured if I'm picky. In reality suspect I'm jealous its better than any of my efforts   |

. I noticed the "yolk colour" pop when I added the Ha data. In fact I toned down the amount of Ha as it was originally overwhelming the core.
Rob, I used the range selection tool to allow me to mask the background and target/sharpen the Galaxy or as Rick suggested, invert and mask the galaxy to just work on the background.
