Another thing to consider is what you are mainly interested in viewing. Different horses for different courses. For high power viewing, a motorised eq mount. If deep sky is going to be your thing, then the biggest dob you can handle. On wheels if your home setup allows it. As for me, I have ended up with an eq mounted C8. Just terrific.
