We don't get them so often over here but last night a real doozy lit up Auckland and Northland just before midnight. Swept in from the West over the Waitakere Hills with multiple sheet and forked strikes with some huge rumbling explosive hits overhead. Then some serious wind and rain for about 30 minutes.
But the Ob Roof stayed on .... this time ....
