Orion widefield in Infrared

Couple of shots from BSG 2014 from Friday night. Orion was rising around 11:00pm so I shot it all night until 4:00am. Couple of passing clouds so a little noisy. Two panels of 25x5min each.

Pentax 150mm lens, QHY9 and IR 740nm filter guided on G11.

I'll probably try it again with more integration time when it's up ahead as I started very low. Lot more stars than your usual RGB or Ha shots and the HH is actually lighter against the darker background with all the Ha neb gone. That should be cool doing at longer FL another time.
