Jupiter with new processing

Hi everyone,

After the amazing improvement that Mike did to my April 17th Jupiter AVI file, I have been closely following the discussion on RGB splitting and processing on the forum.

Lacking computer skills and any whizz bang computer programs, I simply downloaded IRIS and split my Jup AVI into RGB fit. files and processed these in Registax and then AstraImage.

See the attached result or on my web site here:

Obviously way not as good as Mike's effort (will never be as good as that!):

But I think better than my original:

The problem however that I have enountered, (looking for advice here) is that I cannot create a reference frame in Registax with the fit. files. The problem appears to be that I cannot tick the histo-stretch box before the program proceeds onto the wavelet function. What I end up with is a black screen. Any ideas?
Also Registax does not appear to like more than 720 or so fit. files which is not ideal but workable.

Advice and comments welcome!

John.
