Hours of astronomical darkness

I've been trying to get some data of M42, Rosette and other Orion'ish objects in the early morning of late. Have really noticed the astronomical twilight time for Brissy ticking back earlier each morning. Was about 4:05am early this month and now about 3:45

As a bit of trivia, this is a graph I cooked up for Brissy a few years ago as part of an imaging spreadsheet. The odds definitely get stacked against you here as summer clouds set in and hours of darkness drop. Freaks me out if I'm staying up late and hear the first early chirps of the dawn chorus around 3:30
Makes it harder to sleep out in the field when you do hit the sack too - bloody birds
