The best night for astronomical observation so far this year,

a Saturday night,

moon is a waning crescent, not rising till around 3am, and

the Pony Club deserted, except for four of us?
I don't get it
The sky was cloudless.
A fresh breeze kept dew at bay until near midnight.
Seeing was good
Company was good.
Thanks to all who turned up: John (Fizics); Dave (Racecar) and Joe (Astropolak). Good to catch up with you guys again.
John's new scope had its maiden voyage and seemed to go well.
We all opted for an early night, and I locked the gate about 1.
