Total waste of time in Wollongong. Eight eighths cloud cover for the entire duration. Had the 12" Dob ready with the Panoptic 35mm in the focusser...and all I saw was cloud with the occasional fruit-bat flying under it.
Ever tried to observe a fruit-bat in flight with a Panoptic 35mm? It's not easy!
