Or else unscrew one of the cig lighter sockets and hook the wire to the centre pin to the positive of the fan and the other to the negative of the fan.
I know it's rough as guts but it will work.
Make sure you don't short the terminals out and make sure the wires are secure before you put the cig lighter socket back together again.
