I wanted to move the dome but my wife didnt want me to, so..... Not being able to use it where it was, I had no choice, it was either have it sitting there in a position where it wasn't being put to good use or sell it to someone who can put it to good use. I think the person who bought it would put it to great use, he does imaging with an LX-90 and prefers domes over open roof designs.
The buyer is NOT a forum member but is a memebr of the Astronomical Society of South Australia.
Build a new one? I don't think so.
