Comet C/2013 A1

A very dim object to try and image. I expect someone with experience post processing could improve this a lot. I don't have the knowledge.

I was able to Guide on the comet with my new Orion Starshoot pro. Guiding time was 10 seconds per capture. Please excuse the crappy stars as guiding on the comet does not work real well. The EQ mount is not really designed to guide like this. And 10 sec guiding corrections caused zig zag star motions.

Unfortunatly the second image is not very good. I didn't notice but after the 2nd Sub the corrector plate dewed up big time. I normally have the heater on but last night I wasn't expecting dew.

Their are two images here. First one is 6 subs at 5 mins each. Second is 6 subs at 10 mins each. Celestron C11 and stock canon 100D. Taken at Linden 19/09/2014
