The filter is astronomic clip in filter for Canon camera's, definitely for imaging.

How long can you go?
I know with reasonable polar alignment, my Heq Pro5 was getting two minute exposures without guiding.
If you are restricted it may be worth doing some high ISO shots to blend in with say 800 ISO.
Just stack them separately in DSS and then blend them together in PS 7.
