The crater rays in the listing are not the "common" ones seen from certain craters around the Full Moon - they're also called rays.
These are phenomena of the lunar terrain that allow narrow shafts of sunlight to shine on the darkened part of the Moon. A good example is the crater Walter. There is a break in the crater wall that allows sunlight to shine through on to the darkened crater floor near the Last Quarter Moon. Check the Robinson Lunar Observatory site at
