Hi Allan,
the Bintel adapters are a different kind of device. The Baader Clicklock I've got is not a 2"-1.25" adapter or extension tube, it is an eyepiece holder with T2 thread on the other end (to fit any of their vast array of T2 accessories, like the T2 diagonals). It also has a fine-focussing collar.
To everybody else, thanks for alleviating my fears, I should learn not to fret so much...
